1. Do you accept insurance?
We are not in network with any insurance companies at this time, but we do assist you in seeking insurance reimbursement for clinical services if you have out-of-network benefits.
2. Why should I pick Be A Hero over something covered by my insurance?
Many people who come to us have invested a lot of money into seeking treatment at inpatient and residential treatment centers, or they have already seen many therapists, but haven’t seen any long-term changes at home. Life doesn’t happen in an office and neither does our solution. We will help you protect your investment in previous treatment services by working with you in your home and teaching you how to implement the skills and concepts you learn in the course of real life. This also allows us to work more with your family members and outside support systems.
3. Who will I be working with?
All of our staff are experts in their own right. They hold appropriate licenses, certification, etc. and have an extensive amount of time where they have been in business. We work to match people based on personality, needs, and strengths. When possible, we have two people who conduct the initial assessment so that two individuals are constructing the best possible plan and picking the best professional matches for the client and family.
4. What if I don't need the fitness, nutrition, or in-home coaching and just need the in-home counseling?
Our Elite plan allows you to customize your own plan based on what you need. The two individuals who meet with you during the initial assessment will also make recommendations, but ultimately, you are in charge of deciding the services you need and the amount of time those services last.
5. Why would I need an in-home coach?

In-home coaches provide extra support anywhere from one hour up to 24 hours a day. They can be there if there is a specific time during the day where you are feeling you need more support or they can come to help you with life tasks such as cooking skills, grocery shopping, working out, job searching, attending AA meetings, etc. In-home coaches are able to meet a variety of needs. Call us at 210-502-7222 and we’ll tell you how they can help with your specific situation.
